It is hereby ordered that the Principality of Kaharagia shall observe a period of mourning following the passing of Her Royal Princess Sheilla, Dowager Countess Ericksen, who departed this life on Tuesday, 8th April 2025.

This period of mourning shall commence today, Wednesday, 9th April 2025, and continue for one month until Friday, 9th May 2025.

During this time of mourning, all Kaharagian flags shall be flown at half-mast when displayed on a flagpole. If affixed to an indoor pole or mounted horizontally from a building, a black mourning streamer shall be placed above the flag. Additionally, other mourning observances that show due respect to the Kaharagian flag may be observed, such as the tying of a black ribbon around a horizontally hung flag to prevent it from unfurling.

This order is to be implemented with immediate effect.
